O….M……G!!!!!!!!!

I HAD THE BEST TIME IN MISSOURI LIKE OMG! HA! IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN AND WOW I HAD A GREAT TIME! lol.

Me, Mom & Dad left about 2 on Thursday and we drove forever until we reached West Memphis! We stayed at this Hallmarc Inn (umm..no. lol) and we ate bbq at Tops Barbeque and they put slaw on my dad’s bbq sandwich! hahahaha it was soo funny. And the waiter man reminded me of my cousin Melanie’s boyfriend Justin and Mel!!! Anyway, we stayed the nite at the motel thing and it was kinda gross in there.

Friday morning we got up and drove to St. Louis!! We missed one road and we ended up in Illinois! In the HOOD of Illinois too, lol. Some black woman asked my mom what kinda perfume she was wearing-LOL! And the cashiers inside the store were in cages! hahahahaha wow..so funny. Anyway. We got to St. Louis FINALLY and went to Aunt Delores’ house and saw everybody and all that. We met the neighbors and it was great. After a while we went to our motel, Red Roof Inn, and it was only one bed!! It was horrible, but it was alright. I needed shampoo and my dad had to run to the store and by $5 conditioner, LOL! So I took a shower and got ready for the family dinner.

I wore my boho skirt and I looked way boho! Greg kept calling it my gypsy skirt and Aunt Lannette said I looked like a hippie! We went back to Aunt Dolores’ house and visited and waited for everybody to get home from the store. Elisa’s boyfriend, Jason (AKA MR CLEAN) came by and then we all went to the civic center. Well we got there and we hugged Gary and then stood around for a lil while. I met tons of new people! Everybody was so hilarious and down to earth and I loved them all!! So of course, there was TONS of alcohol! lol. Everybody drank but like me, lol and my parents ya know. But it was so hilarious…man, it was great. So, right off I spotted Gary’s grandsons… and then after we ate Gary brought Danny over to where I was and introduced us because he was gonna be the other usher and I didnt go to rehearsal so he had to tell me what to do. So the whole night everybody was like “HEY HILARY! DONT YOU THINK THOSE BOYS ARE SO CUTE?” talking about Danny (18) and Tommy (16). Umm they were pretty cute! (SHHHH!)  It was actually Tommy’s 16th birthday! AWW! So it was a fun night. I hung out with Annese alot. Actually I hung out with her practically the whole weekend!! So I didnt wanna leave the family dinner but we finally did and went back to Aunt D’s house. My mom carried the watermelon…lol it was great! “I CARRIED THE WATERMELON!” hahahaha… so we went to our motel anyhow and went to sleep.

Saturday, I woke up at 5:45 am and got ready for the wedding that was in Illinois! We finally left and I was wearing my purple clothes and I was SO nervous. Anyway, everybody left without us because we were supposed to have directions but yeah my parents can’t follow directions. Anyway, they were stressing me out and I was like crying in the backseat but finally, it was all okay. We got there on time and I RAN inside and handed out programs with Danny! When the wedding started, he walked his great grandmother down the aisle and I walked Grandmother. We were awesome ushers! My shoes were all
“FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP” down the aisle lol. I kept asking Danny if we were supposed to go here or there or whatever and he was like “ummm i dont know” to EVERYTHING! So I was just laughing the whole time lol. Anyway, I went and sat behind Shona. The wedding was INTERESTING! Um..WOW. It was a Lutheran wedding! I’d never experienced anything quite like that! The preacher (RON! who USED to be married to Lora which is Aunt D’s friend) read out of books of the bible like Tobit. (…) We had to take COMMUNION!! WE had to drink wine out of the same cup!! Anyway, during one of the MANY prayers, I snuck up to the row where my mom, dad, Annese & Aunt Denise were sitting and they were all like I AM NOT DRINKING OUT OF THAT CUP! lol and I like quietly BUSTED OUT laughing! hahaha..so we all went up to the front and pretended to drink the wine. Gosh it was funny. You shoulda seen the video of it! So after the wedding party went out, we walked our Grandmothers down the aisle again and then went out the door. DANNY forgot to tell me to go back in and direct everyone to leave so he made me look dumb! lol. But thats okay!

We all left and went to the reception! It took forever to get there! But it was well worth it! It was the BEST! I sat with Adam & Aunt Lanette for a while n then when Aunt Delores & UNCLE Gary got there, Danny called me over to the wedding party table! We got to go eat first and they had some great food. But  I didnt eat much because I was sitting at a table with Aunt Delores, Uncle Gary, his son Mark, Grandmother, Elisa, Mr. Clean & Danny..& I felt silly! I didnt eat cake OR the chocolate on the chocolate fountain! But oh well…I didnt even drink my champagne they poured me!

Aunt Dolores and Uncle Gary danced their first dance to “Could I have this Dance?” and it was SO sweet. I almost cried. OOH OOH I DIDNT CRY DURING THE WEDDING! Arent u proud? So everybody danced and it was precious! I got hyper during like the YMCA & stuff and when Friends in Low Places came on I sang really loud and it was so fun! Not to mention, EVERYBODY WAS DRINKING AGAIN! This time it was more than just beer & wine! lol We had an open bar! SO funny..didnt drink though I swear!

Anyway, I hung out with Annese a lot and we took pictures of EVERYTHING! Greg took a picture of me n Danny! I ran over there and was like HEY DANNY TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME! I felt like 12 lol it was fun though. I took pics of lotsa stuff! We finally all left about 5 after taking more pics with the guys, ha! And we all went back to Aunt Delores’ house and hung out after going to the motel and taking naps and talking to Sam on the phone forever.

We watched the video of the wedding and I cried! A buncha ppl went to see the Arch but I was so into the video that I didnt go…man I wish I woulda though. Uncle Darrell, Uncle Bobby, Uncle Gary & my dad went to a sports bar and they stayed out til like 1145 and I sat around and talked to Aunt Delores n Aunt Sharon n everybody. We went to the motel and stayed the nite.

On Sunday morning we woke up and checked out of the motel and headed to Aunt Dolores’ house which is now ELISA’s HOUSE! We sat around for a while and all the women stole clothes lol. I took some gray lounge pants & a jacket from Elisa! lol. Anyway, when everybody started leaving…I busted out crying and cried for like…a really long time. I hugged Aunt Delores and Elisa for ever and Elisa said i’m coming to stay with her next summer & Aunt Delores wants me to write her a letter, lol. We finally left and I cried to Walmart…

We drove forever til we got to Memphis and we stayed in a GREAT hotel! It was AWESOME!! We went to the Cracker Barrell & ate chicken & I bought a card and some little candle stuff for Sam. We went back to the hotel and I wrote Sam a LONG letter while I was watching this movie on TV called “Lockin” and I didnt get to bed until like 1. I wrote Elisa & all that jazz with my pretty markers!

I woke up early this morning and we went to GRACELAND!!! gosh i had SO much fun! We stayed inside the house for 2 hours! I almost cried when we got to the gravesite. You shoulda seen me lol. I had so much fun and it was AWESOME! WE bought the pic they took of us, too! It’s real cute. It’s just me & my mom and its adorable! Gosh anyway. I LOVED GRACELAND!

So AnYwHo! It was an AWESOME trip and I cant wait to get my pics developed! Write me letters, mk? I’ll TTYL! XOXO, Hil*
